Paws on Pemberton Returns to Salisbury This Weekend
Salisbury, MD - The annual Paws on Pemberton event will take place at Pemberton Park in Salisbury, Maryland this Saturday, November 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family-friendly gathering offers activities for dog owners and their pets throughout the day.
Event organizers have scheduled multiple competitions and demonstrations. The Mid Atlantic Disc Dogs will present performances at three scheduled times. Contest activities include a dog costume competition, pie eating contest, and talent show. Additional contests will recognize the smallest, biggest, and cutest "ugly" dogs in attendance.
Participants can also engage in interactive games such as tennis ball lottery, musical chairs, and the which hand game. The event will feature adoptable dogs, live music, vendor booths, and food options for attendees.
Algonquin Ultras has introduced new trail activities to this year's program. A 1.5-mile dog walk will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a timed 5K dog run at 11 a.m. Both activities require advance registration, with the deadline set for Wednesday, November 5 at 11:59 p.m.
