Physical therapist assistant graduates participate in pinning ceremony

Wicomico County, MD - Eleven students from the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Wor-Wic Community College recently celebrated the completion of their academic journey with a pinning ceremony. This event marked their official entry into the profession and signified the start of a new chapter in their careers. The ceremony, held on the college campus, was an intimate yet meaningful occasion.
Dr. Tiffany Kotra-Loos, the clinical coordinator and an associate professor, along with Dr. William J. Bails, the department head and professor, officiated the ceremony. They offered words of encouragement and presented awards to the graduates. The event also featured a speech by student speaker Abigail Stabinski from Ocean City, adding a personal touch to the proceedings.
Joining Stabinski in receiving their pins were fellow graduates Alexis Bosley, Julia Cornish, Natalie Flynn, Madison Paolone, and Brittney Wallop, all from Salisbury. Additional graduates included Monika Copes from Hebron, Rylee Covington from Pocomoke City, Tina Walas from Ocean City, Zachary Johnson from Delmar, Delaware, and George Eppard-Annis from Millsboro, Delaware.
