Bethany Beach, DE - On May 6, 2025, the Bethany Beach Police Department responded to an incident at an Airbnb rental located in the 600 block of Evans Avenue in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., officers were contacted by the homeowner of the property about a disorderly individual who was punching holes in the walls of the property. This report followed a call made just a day earlier regarding noise complaints related to a loud party at the same address.
Investigations revealed that the suspect was a 21-year-old woman from Laurel, Delaware, identified as Nijae Harris.
Reports indicate that Harris escalated the situation by threatening other guests with a knife and damaging clothing with scissors.

Harris reportedly continued to cause significant damage to the property and the guests' belongings before leaving the scene, prior to the police's arrival.
Despite law enforcement's efforts, Harris could not be located, resulting in warrants being issued for her arrest.
The charges against her include three counts of terroristic threatening, one count of offensive touching, and two counts of criminal mischief for damages totaling less than $1,000.
