Police Investigate Shot Spotter Alert Near Chesapeake College

Cambridge, MD - Cambridge Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Race Street late on January 26, 2026. At approximately 11:57 p.m., a "Shot Spotter" alert reported multiple shots fired in the rear parking lot behind Chesapeake College.

Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle occupied by two individuals in the parking lot. No firearms or evidence were recovered at the scene. Currently, there are no reported victims.

This is an on-going investigation. The Cambridge Police Department is requesting assistance from the Community with any information regarding this incident.
