Police Investigating High Street Shooting in Cambridge

Cambridge, MD - On July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:27 a.m., officers from the Cambridge Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating two shots were fired in the 600 block of High Street in Cambridge, Maryland.

While en route, officers were redirected to the 700 block of High Street in response to reports of an individual with a gunshot wound.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip. The individual was described as highly uncooperative and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

While being treated, the victim remained uncooperative with law enforcement officials. He was subsequently transferred to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland, for further care.
