Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Suspects in Shoplifting Case

Laurel, DE - The Laurel Police Department is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying two individuals connected to an active shoplifting investigation.
According to authorities, on July 19, 2025, at approximately 4:18 p.m., the suspects entered the Food Lion supermarket located at 30215 Sussex Highway in Laurel, Delaware. The individuals were observed placing multiple items into a shopping cart before exiting the store without rendering payment.
The suspects were last seen loading the stolen merchandise into a silver or tan GMC Envoy bearing Maryland license plates. The vehicle was reported to have departed the scene heading westbound on Discount Landing Road.
