Preston Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

Caroline County, MD - A Preston, Maryland resident was arrested on Wednesday on multiple outstanding warrants related to stalking and harassment charges.

Ian Borgeson was taken into custody at his residence on Back Landing Road following a response by Caroline County Sheriff's Office deputies. The arrest occurred on October 8, 2025, as authorities attempted to locate Borgeson in connection with two outstanding arrest warrants.

The warrants were issued for alleged stalking and harassment of two Town of Preston employees. Deputies located Borgeson in the driveway of his home in the 100 block of Back Landing Road and arrested him without incident.

Following his arrest, Borgeson was transported to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office for processing. He was subsequently brought before a Caroline County Court Commissioner.

Borgeson was released on two unsecured bonds totaling $7,500.
