Preston Woman Charged in Easton DUI Crash
Easton, MD - On November 14, 2025, the Easton Police Department served a criminal summons to Tea M. Squillace, 27, of Preston, Maryland. The summons includes charges for Intoxicated Public Disturbance, Negligent Driving, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol.
The charges stem from an incident on October 19, 2025. At approximately 12:28 a.m., the Easton Police Department was dispatched to the Tidewater Inn area following a report of a motor vehicle collision. Witnesses reported that the driver had fled the scene on foot.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a single-vehicle accident where a vehicle had left the roadway, striking a metal pole and a tree. The vehicle sustained significant damage. Officers noted signs of alcohol consumption and the odor of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle.
The investigation led officers to identify the driver as Ms. Squillace. She was found a short distance away on North Washington Street. While speaking with Ms. Squillace, officers observed signs of alcohol impairment. She refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Ms. Squillace had visible injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
