Princess Anne, MD – On August 2, 2023, at approximately 1:30 AM, the Princess Anne Police Department (PAPD) responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Somerset Ave, near the Pine Knoll Townhouses in Princess Anne, Maryland.

Upon arrival, PAPD officers secured the area and ascertained that multiple gunshots had been discharged. Tragically, PAPD found that a juvenile had sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The injured juvenile is currently under medical care and being treated for their injuries.

As the investigation into this incident unfolds, PAPD is calling upon the community for their assistance.
