QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATING SHOTS FIRED AT LOCAL ROYAL FARMS STORE

Queen Anne's County, MD - In the early hours of May 25, 2025, at approximately 12:17 a.m., deputies from the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire at the Royal Farms on Church Hill Road.

Preliminary findings indicate that an unknown suspect or suspects fired shots from a black Range Rover as it traveled along Route 213. The bullets struck a gas pump and the tailgate of a pickup truck. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Witnesses described seeing the vehicle escape southbound on Route 213. Despite a swift response from law enforcement, the suspects remain at large, increasing the urgency of the ongoing investigation.

The Criminal Investigation Unit is now leading efforts to gather evidence and follow leads to ensure that justice is served.
