Queen Anne's County, MD - On June 11, 2025, a structure fire broke out in a two-story single-family dwelling in the 500 block of Paul Drive.

The fire caused an estimated financial loss of approximately $150,000 in damage to the structure and the contents incurring an additional $25,000 loss.

The Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, with the assistance of mutual aid companies, responded with 15 firefighters on the scene. The team took 50 minutes to control the blaze, which was discovered by the occupant.
