Caroline County, MD - On October 6, 2023, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Registry Division arrested a Talbot County man for being on school property as a registered sex offender. 

Roberto Ivan Zaldivar Jr. of Easton, Maryland has been charged with being a registered sex offender entering a restricted real property, a violation of the State of Maryland Sex Offender Registry requirements. 

Zaldivar was immediately taken into custody while on the Colonel Richardson School Campus while attending the football game. 

Zaldivar is a Tier One registered sex offender and is prohibited from entering real property utilized as a primary or secondary education facility. Zaldivar was taken before the Caroline County District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance, at which time he was remanded to the Caroline County Detention Center without bond.
