Royal Oak Woman Arrested for Juvenile Assault

Talbot County, MD - A Maryland woman was arrested following an investigation into the assault of a juvenile on February 22, 2026.

Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office responded to an incident reported on the 800 block of Radcliffe Avenue. Upon arrival, a juvenile victim reported being struck in the face with a cell phone and a closed fist.

Law enforcement officials observed injuries on the victim that were consistent with the reported assault.

Following the preliminary investigation, 33-year-old Anai Ramirez of Royal Oak, Maryland, was placed under arrest. Ramirez was officially charged with assault.

She was subsequently transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. Ramirez was processed and was taken for an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

On February 22, 2026, Ramirez was released on recognizance. Her first court date for this matter will be on April 8, 2026 in the Talbot County District Court.
