SALISBURY CITY ANNOUNCES DOWNTOWN ROAD CLOSURES FOR 3RD FRIDAY EVENT ON JUNE 20, 2025

Salisbury, Maryland - The monthly 3rd Friday celebration will take place in Downtown Salisbury this Friday, June 20. This month's theme, "Summer Camp," will transform the area into a nostalgic and playful experience.

The event will include ice cream, arts and crafts, live music, and camp-inspired activities designed to evoke the carefree spirit of summer.

Road Closures and Parking Information

The following road closures will be in effect beginning at 2 p.m. on June 20:

• Main Street from W. Market Street to Division Street (Downtown Plaza)
• Division Street from Rt. 50 to Circle Avenue

Free parking is available downtown on nights and weekends, including two-hour free on-street parking. Visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and avoid the closed areas.

Event Details

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Downtown Plaza and Unity Square will host live entertainment, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. Medium Wave Jay will perform on the Downtown Plaza stage, while The KG Band will perform at Unity Square.

Additional highlights include a special pet training demonstration by K9 Heeling from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in Unity Square and a tug-of-war competition called the "Ultimate Summer Camp Test of Strength," which emphasizes teamwork and camp spirit. A craft station will also be available, where children can participate in camp-themed arts and crafts activities.

3rd Friday is more than just an event; it is an opportunity to engage with the heart of Salisbury's vibrant community. Attendees can explore local artwork, shop with unique vendors, and support small businesses.
