SALISBURY FIRE DEPARTMENT'S MDCN TEAM COMPLETES FIRST BUPRENORPHINE INDUCUTION

Salisbury, MD - The City of Salisbury has reached a significant milestone in its fight against opioid addiction with the successful completion of the first buprenorphine induction conducted in the field in the State of Maryland by the Salisbury Fire Department's Minor Definitive Care Now (MDCN) team.

On April 25, 2025, Community Paramedic Miranda Webster and TidalHealth Nurse Practitioner Jessica Stoner carried out this groundbreaking buprenorphine induction in the field.
