Salisbury Man Arrested for Robbery and Assault of Elderly Man

SALISBURY, MD - A Salisbury man has been arrested in connection with the robbery and assault of a 73-year-old man on Wednesday morning.
On September 10, 2025, at approximately 10:48 a.m., officers from the Salisbury Police Department were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Salisbury Blvd in Salisbury, Maryland, following a report of a robbery.
The investigation revealed that a 73-year-old male victim was assaulted while inside his vehicle. The suspect then stole the victim's property and fled the area.
Officers and detectives conducted a search of the area and located video footage of the suspect. This led to a broader canvas of nearby neighborhoods.
Shortly thereafter, a patrol officer located the suspect, identified as Nicolas Sapp-Evans, walking in the area of Riverside Road and Georgia Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland.
Sapp-Evans was placed under arrest and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center. He faces charges of Robbery, Reckless Endangerment, and First-Degree Assault and will be seen by a district court commissioner.
