Salisbury Woman Arrested Following Dispute in Easton

Easton, MD - On January 9, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a residence in Easton, Maryland. The response was initiated by a report of a dispute that was believed to have turned physical.

Upon arrival at the scene, damage consistent with a disturbance was observed inside the home, including broken household items and damage to interior walls.

Officers were advised that an individual staying at the residence was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant.

A search of the premises was conducted, and Morgan B. Stallings, 20, of Salisbury, Maryland, was located hiding in a bedroom.

During contact with law enforcement, a false name and date of birth were provided.

The suspect's true identity was confirmed, and it was determined that she had an active arrest warrant issued through Wicomico County for a Violation of Probation.

Based on statements gathered and physical evidence assessed at the scene, police determined a First Degree Assault had occurred.

Stallings was taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. She faces additional charges of First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Making a False Statement to a Law Enforcement Officer. Stallings was processed and released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
