Sally Slook Appointed as Town Manager for Federalsburg

Federalsburg, MD: The Town of Federalsburg has officially announced the appointment of Sally Slook as the new Town Manager, effective July 1, 2025.

Ms. Slook brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the private and public sectors, including 17 years in municipal government management roles across Pennsylvania and Delaware. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Villanova University.

Among her professional distinctions, she has earned the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association (ICMA-CM).

Since 2014, Ms. Slook has served as Adjunct Faculty in Villanova University's Master of Public Administration Department.

Her background combines strategic and operational expertise in local government, along with a commitment to staff training, development, and the promotion of inclusion and equity practices.

Upon assuming the role of Town Manager, Ms. Slook will oversee Federalsburg's daily operations, supervise the town's budget and workforce, and act as a liaison for the Mayor, Council, and residents of Federalsburg.
