Seaford Man Arrested for 6th Felony DUI Following Harrington Traffic Stop

State of DE - Delaware State Police arrested 44-year-old Marrco Bryant of Seaford, Delaware on Friday night, February 13, 2026. The arrest occurred in Harrington, Delaware, following a traffic stop.

Bryant has been charged with his 6th offense felony DUI along with other related traffic charges.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., a trooper patrolling South Dupont Highway near Williamsville Road observed a Ford F-150 traveling southbound. The vehicle was noted to have an equipment violation.

The trooper initiated a stop and made contact with the driver, later identified as Bryant. During the interaction, Bryant displayed signs of impairment.

He was asked to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which revealed further indicators of impairment. Bryant was subsequently taken into custody without incident.

Troopers conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered empty bottles of alcohol. A computer inquiry revealed that Bryant's driver's license was suspended. The background check further indicated that Bryant had five prior DUI convictions.

Bryant was transported to Troop 3 for processing. He was charged with 6th Offense DUI (Felony), Driving While Suspended or Revoked, and Improper Tail Lights.

Following arraignment by Justice of the Peace Court 11, Bryant was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $5,101 cash bond.
