Seaford Man Charged with Theft in Easton, MD
Easton, MD - On November 14, 2025, officers served a criminal summons to Nahum A. Santos-Barahona, a 27-year-old resident of Seaford, Delaware.
The summons includes charges for theft of $1,500 to under $25,000, acting as a contractor without a license, and selling home improvements without a license.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.
The investigation found that on or around December 20, 2024, Santos-Barahona entered into an agreement to perform home improvements at a residence on Colony Circle in Easton, Maryland.
According to the investigation, Santos-Barahona received a payment of $12,600 from the homeowner but never performed any of the agreed-upon work. It was also revealed that Santos-Barahona was not licensed to conduct home improvement work in Maryland.
