Seaford Police Assist Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents in Apprehension

Seaford, DE - On November 6, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., officers from the Seaford Police Department were called to assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents near a business located at 22880 Sussex Highway in Seaford, Delaware.

Federal agents were attempting to take a subject into custody when the individual allegedly physically resisted. The suspect then fled the scene and hid under a nearby utility trailer.

Seaford Police officers responded to the location and helped secure the area until additional federal agents arrived. Officers assisted in moving the trailer to allow federal law enforcement to apprehend the subject.

During the apprehension, the suspect sustained a minor injury. Seaford Police provided medical treatment until emergency medical services arrived on scene.

The owner of the truck and trailer was contacted by the Seaford Police Department. No further involvement by Seaford Police was required following the incident.
