Seaford Police Investigate Monday Night Hit-and-Run Collision

Seaford, DE - Seaford Police are investigating a hit-and-run vehicle collision involving a pedestrian that occurred on October 27, 2025. At approximately 7:23 p.m., officers from the Seaford Police Department responded to the area of West Stein Highway and Porter Street for a reported collision.

The initial investigation determined that a 68-year-old male was crossing West Stein Highway in a northbound direction when he was struck by a gray Lincoln Navigator. The impact was made by the vehicle's driver's side mirror.

According to the report, the suspect vehicle initially slowed down after the collision before continuing eastbound on Stein Highway. The vehicle is described as a gray Lincoln Navigator and is likely missing its driver's side mirror, with potential additional damage to the driver's side.

The victim was transported to Nanticoke Hospital and was later flown to Christiana Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
