Search Underway for Missing Person in Accomack County, Virginia
Accomack County, VA - The Accomack County Sheriff's Office has launched an extensive search for a missing person, Miles McIntyre.
Search and rescue efforts are being supported by multiple agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard, which deployed a 29-foot response boat from Station Cape Charles and an MH-60 helicopter from Air Station Elizabeth City.
Additional assistance came from the Virginia Marine Police, Onancock Police Department, Accomack County Public Safety Department, and the Onancock Fire Department. The Virginia Marine Police also utilized advanced search equipment, including drones and underwater robots, as part of their efforts yesterday.
Authorities urge that anyone who has seen Miles McIntyre since last night or has any information regarding his whereabouts contact the Accomack County Sheriff's Office at 757-787-1131 immediately.
