SEARCH WARRANT RESULTS IN THE ARREST OF TWO SUBJECTS IN LAUREL, DELAWARE

Laurel, DE - On May 29, 2025, a search warrant was executed in the 500 block of Willow Street in Laurel, Delaware. This operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a substantial amount of narcotics.

During the search, authorities recovered 215 baggies of heroin and $747.00 in U.S. currency from the residence. The primary targets of the investigation, Rocco Mangino, aged 46, and Melissa Baldwin, aged 39, who were present in the residence, along with their two children, aged 4 and 15. Mangino was found in possession of additional quantities of heroin.

Both Mangino and Baldwin were taken into custody without incident. They are facing multiple charges, including manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a counterfeit controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child, among others. These include Class E and Class G felonies, as well as Class A and B misdemeanors.

Following their arraignment, Baldwin was released on a $10,000.00 unsecured bond, while Mangino was remanded to the Sussex Correctional Institute with a $10,000.00 cash bond set against him.
