Shoplifting Incident Investigated at Easton Grocery Store

Easton, MD - On March 19, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a reported theft at the Giant grocery store located at 8223 Elliott Road in Easton, Maryland.

Upon arrival, a description of a white female suspect was provided to the officers by store employees. It was reported that the individual exited the establishment without paying for merchandise.

A subject matching the provided description was subsequently located by the officers. The individual was identified as 35-year-old Ashley M. Broll of Easton, Maryland.

Broll was charged with theft of less than $100. Following the charge, she was released on a criminal citation.
