Shoplifting Incident Reported at Easton Target

Easton, MD - On January 31, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a report of shoplifting at the Target store located at 28539 Marlboro Avenue in Easton, MD.

Upon arrival, officers met with India A. Curtis, a 41-year-old resident of Denton, MD, in the store's asset protection office.

According to the report, asset protection personnel stopped Curtis after she allegedly passed all points of sale with merchandise in her possession.

The total value of the items was approximately $189.23, and no payment had been made. Following the investigation, Curtis was released on a criminal citation.
