St. Michaels Man Arrested for Harassment in Domestic Dispute Case

St. Michaels, MD - Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested James Wallace Womack, a 28-year-old resident of St. Michaels, Maryland, in connection with a domestic dispute.  


On July 24, 2025, deputies responded to an incident reported in the 100 block of Bush Terrace, St. Michaels, Maryland. Upon arrival, the complainant informed law enforcement that she was being harassed by Womack.

  

While deputies were assisting the complainant, Womack was observed following them despite being present at the scene. Deputies issued a verbal cease-and-desist order to Womack, instructing him to halt his behavior.


When Womack refused to comply with the directive, deputies proceeded to place him under arrest on charges of harassment.  


Following his arrest, Womack was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He appeared initially before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance.
