Stabbing at Little Creek Apartment Complex Being Investigated by Laurel Police

Laurel, DE - At approximately 7:26 PM, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 200 block of the Little Creek Apartment Complex in Laurel, Delaware, in response to a fight in progress. While investigating the incident, officers received a report of a related incident in the 500 block of Center Street, also in Laurel, Delaware, where a person sustained a serious physical injury.

Upon arriving at the secondary location, officers found an unresponsive adult black male victim with a single stab wound to his abdomen. Officers administered medical aid until EMS personnel arrived and transported the individual for treatment of their injuries.

According to initial findings, this incident is not believed to be a random act of violence. Authorities have emphasized that there is no perceived threat to the general public at this time.

The suspect involved in the stabbing remains at large, and the investigation remains active and ongoing. The Laurel Police Department is seeking information related to this incident.
