Stolen Vehicle Recovered Following Incident on Cordtown Road

Cambridge, MD - Cambridge Police Department officers responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on the 5000 block of Cordtown Road in Cambridge, MD. The response occurred on January 4, 2026, at approximately 7:46 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a dark blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Visible damage to the vehicle suggested it had been stolen.

Officers subsequently contacted the vehicle's owner. The owner had just discovered the vehicle was missing and was preparing to report the theft to the police.

The investigation determined the vehicle was taken from the 400 block of Kent Street. The theft occurred between 11:30 p.m. on January 3, 2026, and the time of the incident the following morning.

This is currently an ongoing investigation. The Cambridge Police Department is requesting assistance from the community regarding this matter.
