As the officers attempted to conduct the traffic stop, the operator of the vehicle accelerated and refused to stop, and an extreme rate of speed estimated to be approximately 100 mph in a 25-mph zone.

The vehicle fled down Willis St failing to stop at multiple stop signs.  The vehicle attempted to make a right hand turn on Oakley St at a high rate of speed and could not negotiate the turn and ended up striking the curb and a unoccupied parked vehicle.

The operator then fled from the scene.  Officers were able to identify the driver as Davis.  Davis was found to not possess a drivers license.  Cambridge Police Officers applied for charges on Davis with the Dorchester County Court Commissioner where an Arrest Warrant was issued.
