Talbot County Man Arrested on 57 Charges Including Jury Intimidation

Talbot County, MD - Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Samuel Curtis Russ on October 15, 2025. The 36-year-old Willards, Maryland resident faces multiple serious charges related to obstruction of justice.

A District Court Commissioner issued an arrest warrant for Russ on October 14, 2025. The warrant includes 57 charges against the defendant. Among the most serious allegations are intimidating or influencing a juror and obstruction of justice.

Following his arrest, Russ was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. He underwent standard processing procedures before appearing before a District Court Commissioner for his initial hearing. The court ordered Russ to be held without bond.

He will remain in custody pending further legal proceedings. The case will continue through the judicial system as additional court actions are scheduled.

The investigation that led to these charges involved multiple law enforcement agencies. Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged crimes at this time.
