Talbot County Sheriff Distributes Donated Christmas Trees

TALBOT COUNTY, MD - The Talbot County Sheriff's Office, led by Sheriff Joe Gamble, distributed Christmas trees to several local facilities that assist community members in need.

The trees were a donation from Rodney and Linda Spring of Easton, MD, and were purchased from the 40th Annual Festival of Trees event held at the Tidewater Inn earlier in the month.

Deputies delivered four trees to organizations in the Easton area. The recipients included Grace Street, a recovery community; Sunnyside Recovery, LLC, a facility for pregnant women and women with children and the only site of its kind on the eastern shore; the Neighborhood Service Center (Webb's Hope); and Channel Marker.

Sheriff Joe Gamble stated, "it is personally satisfying for me and my deputies to be able to help people in need at this time of year. Many thanks to Rodney and Linda Spring who always step up with generous and selfless contributions to people in need in Talbot County".
