THE SOUND BITES TOUR: A CELEBRATION OF SALISBURY'S LOCAL CULTURE AND MUSIC
Salisbury, MD - This summer, Salisbury, Maryland, will come alive with the sounds of local talent through the newly launched Sound Bites Tour. This event is more than just a series of live performances; it represents a music takeover, showcasing the energy of the Eastern Shore's most promising artists alongside the flavors of local breweries and eateries.
Designed to be vibrant and community-focused, the Sound Bites Tour combines lively music with delicious food, creating a grassroots celebration of Salisbury's local culture. Each stop on the tour is a one-night-only event that highlights the talents of local music legends and rising stars at some of the city's top dining and drinking establishments. Additionally, a portion of the tour's proceeds will support the Maryland Folk Festival, helping to keep the festival free for all attendees.
Mayor Randy Taylor expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, "I'm looking forward to the idea of changing venues and seeing increased support for our great restaurants and retailers as an added benefit of each event taking us to different locations. Come on out for a great time!"
The lineup for the 2025 Sound Bites Tour features a variety of performances scheduled from June through September at various locations throughout Salisbury. From the G-Men's performance at Roadie Joe's to Jon Pheasant at Bury Tavern, the tour promises to offer something for everyone.
Additional performances will include the Salisbury Community Band, Bootleg Bros, and On The Edge, culminating in a Karaoke night with Simba at Tides & Vine. Furthermore, Snow Hill will host additional activities during the First Friday Vendors event in September.
Presented in partnership with the Maryland Folk Festival and participating venues, the Sound Bites Tour aims to drive foot traffic downtown, support local artists, and energize Salisbury's cultural scene.
