Tilghman Man Arrested for Drug Possession

Easton, MD - A Tilghman man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Ocean Gateway near Matthewstown Road on November 3, 2025.

Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office conducted the stop after observing a vehicle with moving violations. The driver of the vehicle was charged with driving while intoxicated.

A passenger, identified as James Brent Haddaway Jr., 43, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia.

Haddaway was arrested and taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was later released on his personal recognizance.
