TOWN OF OCEAN CITY SEEKS BEAUTY SPOT AWARD NOMINEES

Ocean City, MD - The Beautification Committee of Ocean City, Maryland, is seeking nominees for the 2025 Beauty Spot Awards. These awards celebrate properties that demonstrate civic pride and contribute to the beauty of the community.

Categories for consideration include residential properties, condominiums, retail locations, hotels, motels, commercial businesses, restaurants, and the Boardwalk.

Donna Greenwood, Chairperson of the Beautification Committee, encourages everyone to get involved. "Anyone can nominate a property," she explains, "whether you're a resident, business owner, neighbor, or simply passing by." The Committee is particularly interested in properties that creatively use plants, flowers, trees, and even small spaces like window boxes and planters.

The awards also recognize those who enhance less attractive areas around dumpsters or utility boxes, transforming them into beautiful spaces. Winners will be honored at a Mayor and City Council meeting this fall.
