TOWN OF OCEAN CITY TO BEGIN SPRING HYDRANT FLUSHING
Ocean City, MD - The Ocean City Public Works Department will begin its spring hydrant flushing program on Sunday, April 20. This bi-annual maintenance will start at South 1st Street and proceed northward, covering several blocks each day.
Flushing will mainly occur during the late evening and early morning hours to minimize disruption, although the schedule may be adjusted if necessary. After the flushing, residents and businesses may experience temporary discoloration of the water. This is harmless and can be cleared up by running cold water for a few minutes.
