Town of Ocean City to Host Annual Job Fair

Ocean City, MD - Individuals interested in working at the beach have an upcoming opportunity to explore employment options. The Town of Ocean City is scheduled to host a job fair on Saturday, February 21st.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center. Admission to the event is free for all attendees.

Supervisors from various disciplines will be present to meet with potential candidates.

Available positions range from public safety roles to camp counselors, bus drivers, and lifeguards. Representatives from multiple town departments will accept applications on-site.

Participating departments include Recreation and Parks, Convention Center, Beach Patrol, Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works, Water, Construction, Maintenance, Solid Waste, and Transportation.

Human Resources Director Katie Callan highlighted the significance of the event. "This job fair is a great opportunity for anyone seeking employment with the Town of Ocean City to pursue a new position or even a new career," Callan commented. "The job fair provides direct access to hiring managers from a wide variety of departments, who are seeking committed, hardworking, and enthusiastic employees to fill available positions."

Attendees are advised to bring their resumes. Computers will be available on-site for applicants to submit forms online during the fair. Individuals unable to attend in person may view current job openings at oceancitymd.gov.
