TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO ARREST IN TALBOT COUNTY, MARYLAND

Talbot County, MD - On April 25, 2025, a traffic stop in Easton, Maryland, led to the arrest of Bennett Jackson Daniels, a 32-year-old local resident. The incident began when deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office pulled Daniels over on St. Michaels Road for a traffic violation.
During the stop, a K-9 unit assisted the deputies with a vehicle search, which uncovered illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Daniels was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia, as well as multiple traffic offenses, including driving with a revoked license.
After his arrest, he was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. Eventually, he appeared before a District Court Commissioner and was released on his own recognizance, with a court hearing scheduled for June 2025.
