Talbot County, MD - Preston resident David Kuzio, 32, lost his life in a three-vehicle crash that occurred last Friday evening in Talbot County, as informed by the Maryland State Police. Kuzio was the only occupant of his Volvo during the collision.

The unfortunate accident happened east of Dover Road, leading to a few panic-stricken moments followed by hours of rigorous investigation. Kuzio was immediately transported to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton after the incident.

Unfortunately, despite the best medical efforts, he was subsequently pronounced dead.

In the same crash, two other drivers were also severely injured. Enrique Mendez Miguel, 50, who was alone in his Chevrolet Silverado, was airlifted and taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center situated in Baltimore. Dayshonna Matthews, 24, driving a Chevrolet Malibu was rushed to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge for immediate medical aid.

Eyewitness accounts state that the Volvo operated by Kuzio for unknown reasons crossed the center line, striking the Silverado. The resulting impact from the Volvo caused the Silverado to collide into Matthews's Malibu.

Dover Road had to be closed for over three hours to facilitate the crash probe. Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration personnel, along with deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office, swiftly arrived at the scene to assist with road closure operations.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team is spearheading the investigation of this dreadful accident, the cause of which currently remains uncertain.
