TRAPPE MAN ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Talbot County, MD - On May 10, 2025, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a Domestic Assault in the 28,000 block of Sanderstown Road in Trappe, Talbot County, Maryland.
Deputies responded to the location and made contact with a victim, a female who advised she was assaulted by her husband, John Alexander Morrison, 66 of Trappe, MD.
Deputies investigated the claims and observed injuries on the victim consistent with an assault. Deputies placed Morrison under arrest charging him with Domestic Assault (2nd Degree Assault).
Morrison was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Morrison was released on his own recognizance.
