Trappe Man Arrested for Failing To Appear in Court

Talbot County, MD - On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Stanford Demby, 35, of Trappe, MD. An arrest warrant for Demby was issued by the Talbot County District Court on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The warrant charged Demby with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing regarding an original charge of driving without a license. Following the arrest, Demby was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility.

He was processed and had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Demby is being held pending further court action.
