TRAPPE MAN FACES MULTIPLE CHARGES AFTER BEING INTOXICATED IN THE ROADWAY

Talbot County, MD - On April 28, 2025, an incident occurred in Trappe, Maryland, leading to the arrest of Aaron Logan Jordan, a 35-year-old resident of the area.
The Talbot County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Maryland State Police, responded to a report of an intoxicated individual walking in traffic on the roadway on Beaverdam Road.
Jordan was instructed to stay off the road for his safety. However, he reacted aggressively to law enforcement and disregarded their instructions. This prompted deputies to attempt an arrest, during which Jordan resisted with force.
As a result of the altercation, Jordan faces several charges, including disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, resisting arrest, obstructing and hindering law enforcement duties, and disturbing the peace. After being subdued, he was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.
His next step involved an initial appearance before the District Court, after which he was released on his own recognizance. He is currently awaiting a court date to address these charges.
Interestingly, this was not Jordan's only legal issue at the time. A day before this incident, he was charged in a separate case in Dorchester County, where he faces two counts of second-degree assault.
