Preston, MD - On Tuesday, January 09, 2024 at approximately 10:30 AM, Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office responded to the 200 block of Main Street in Preston MD about a subject trying to sell a controlled dangerous substance.

Upon arrival, Deputies met with the complainant who advised a male, later identified as Donald Conard, had entered the store and attempted to sell THC edibles to the staff. 

Deputies were able to locate Conard in the immediate area. While speaking with Conard about the incident, Conard admitted to attempting to sell a bag full of THC edibles to staff members of the business. 

Conard was placed under arrest without incident and taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was released on his recognizance.
