Two Arrested Following Disturbance in Federalsburg

Caroline County, MD - Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call at 2005 University Court in Federalsburg, Maryland on October 3, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 pm.

Upon arrival, deputies encountered several individuals in the parking lot who directed them to a female causing the disturbance. Officers made contact with the woman, identified as Marcia Rochelle Cain, and a male, identified as Chilya Devon Cain.

The investigation revealed that both parties had been involved in a physical altercation. Deputies observed minor visible injuries on both individuals. Both suspects appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Neither party required medical attention for their injuries. Deputies arrested both individuals and transported them to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office for processing.

A district court commissioner reviewed the cases and released both suspects on their own recognizance.
