Two Arrested in Easton, MD on Drug Charges

Easton, MD - On November 11, 2025, two individuals from Trappe, MD, were arrested by the Easton Police Department. Mr. Stanford Demby III, 25, and Stacey M. Jones, 29, were charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance-Not Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were later transferred to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

The arrests occurred after a traffic stop at approximately 8:19 p.m. An officer observed a white passenger car traveling below the speed limit in the area of Lomax Street on eastbound Ocean Gateway.

The vehicle was reportedly going 25 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone.

After initiating the stop, the officer noted suspicious movements inside the car, which led to a K-9 scan of the vehicle. The scan resulted in the recovery of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and related drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were then placed under arrest.
