Two Injured in Route 50 Crash in Easton, MD

EASTON, MD - A three-vehicle crash on westbound Route 50 at Chapel Road in Easton, MD, resulted in two individuals being transported to a Shock Trauma center on Wednesday afternoon.

The Easton Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 1:55 p.m. on December 3, 2025. Upon arrival, officers found a 66-year-old male with life-threatening injuries.

A 73-year-old male, who was operating the third vehicle, also sustained injuries that required being flown to Shock Trauma.

Talbot County Paramedics arrived and requested the Maryland State Police Aviation Command to transport both men to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Route 50 was closed for several hours while the Maryland State Police CRASH Team and the Easton Police Department conducted an investigation into the cause of the accident.

The names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing and family members have not yet been notified.
