Salisbury, MD - Over the past several weeks, the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Community Action Team (CAT) conducted an investigation into Tyree Showell distributing controlled dangerous substances from his residence located in the 1200 block of Pocahontas Avenue of Salisbury, Maryland.On May 22, 2023, a search and seizure warrant was executed at Showell's residence by members of CAT and the Criminal Investigation Division. A search of the residence revealed 16.72 grams of cocaine, of which 2.7 grams was crack cocaine, digital scale, and packaging material, and marijuana was located. Showell was taken into custody at his place of employment.Showell was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where he is currently held without bond.
