Vehicle Fire Investigation Underway of Stolen Vehicle in Queenstown

Queenstown, MD - Queenstown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the early morning hours of August 24, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 2:14 a.m. in the 200 block of Arrington Road in Queenstown, Queen Anne's County, Maryland.
The fire involved a 2017 Nissan Rogue that sustained an estimated $10,000 in damages. Four firefighters responded to the single-alarm incident and brought the blaze under control within five minutes of arrival.
A neighbor discovered the fire and alerted authorities. Preliminary findings indicate the fire was incendiary in nature.
The vehicle had been reported stolen from Prince George's County, though the owner was unaware of the theft at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
