VICTORIA IDONI IS THE NEW COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR FOR THE CITY OF SALISBURY

Wicomico County, MD - The City of Salisbury is excited to announce that Victoria Idoni will be joining them as the new Communications Director. With over ten years of experience in public relations, media, and executive communications, Idoni brings extensive knowledge and skills to enhance Salisbury's communication efforts.

Her background in both corporate and community-focused messaging positions her well to lead the city's communication strategies.

Prior to her new role, Victoria Idoni served as the Chief Marketing Officer at The Aurora's Embrace, a non-profit organization dedicated to strategic communications, media relations, and brand management.

Her career includes impressive leadership positions at Under Armour, USA Media Group, and NewsNet, where she earned national recognition for her skills in narrative building and crisis management.

Mayor Randy Taylor expressed his enthusiasm about Idoni's appointment, emphasizing her passion for storytelling and her ability to build trust through clear and compassionate communication. Victoria holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University, along with a dual Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts and Religion from Hood College.
