State of Virginia - Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division are investigating a series of burglaries in a Centreville neighborhood, where a male suspect is believed to have broken into multiple homes while fully nude.

On March 7, at approximately 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a burglary in progress on the 14700 block of Ealing Court. A resident awoke to her dog barking and observed a fully nude man inside her residence.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the individual. Detectives responded to the scene and have since assumed the investigation.

Through this investigation, detectives linked four related incidents in the same neighborhood. In each case, the suspect entered the residence through an unsecured door.

On March 5 at 5:15 a.m., a suspect entered a bedroom on the 14800 block of Bodley Square and fled when confronted by the resident.

On March 6 at 5:30 a.m., an attempted burglary was reported on the 14800 block of Leicester Court. A footprint was found on a trash can that was moved against a fence to access the backyard.

The March 7 incident occurred on the 14700 block of Ealing Court. Finally, on March 8 at 3:30 a.m., a resident on the 6300 block of Paddington Lane heard footsteps and saw a fully nude suspect standing in a doorway before fleeing.

Detectives believe the same suspect is responsible for all four incidents. The suspect is described as a Black male with a light to medium complexion. He is estimated to be between 5'9" and 5'10" with an average build. Detectives and patrol officers have increased targeted enforcement in the area.

Community members are asked to review home or vehicle surveillance footage for suspicious activity between March 5 and March 8 during the early morning hours. Victim specialists from the Major Crimes Bureau's Victim Services Division are currently assisting those affected by the incidents.
